NEW FLAG POLES GO UP AT WOLTERS

Three new flag poles are in the ground.  They have been installed at the 1000 yard line behind the George Tubb Memorial monument. The TSRA has donated the flag poles and will also be providing new flags.  The United States, State of Texas and TSRA flags will make an impressive backdrop for the memorial monument.

RANGE IMPROVEMENTS HELP NEEDED

The club will be making long needed repairs and improvements to our facility this year. The target carriers and target platforms all need to be repaired.   The equipment shed is overdue for painting of the exterior walls and trim.

We are seeking donations of labor, money and/or materials for these
projects.  The following is a list of materials that are needed:

    20--2x12x24"  wolmanized steps
    50--2x12x5'9" wolmanized walkboards
    40--1x4x6'                             cardboard
    20--2x6x6'1/2"                       20 gallons of paint
    20--2x6x5'91/2"                     Paint sprayer
    40--2x6x9'                             Paint brushes
    1" drywall screws
    2-21/2" drywall screws

Anyone that would be interested in participating on a work crew, coordination of any project or donation of  money and/or materials, please contact one of the club officers or e-mail the club.   We would like to have the repairs to the pit system completed prior to the Long Range State Championship in October.
